Our Story
Color By Hannah began with a deep love for the quiet transformations that happen in the chair—the kind you cant always explain, but you can feel.
It started with a pull toward creating hair that feels softer, more natural, and more like the person wearing it. Not overly done, not overly complicated—just honest, dimensional beauty that fits into real life.
Over time, it became less about the hair itself and more about what it gives people: confidence that feels easy—a version of themselves they recognize again, and a moment to breathe and feel taken care of.
This space was built from that feeling. From connection, intention, and the belief that your hair should feel like you—at your most effortless.
The Environment Matters
Color By Hannah is located in a modern salon space in downtown Muskegon. While the salon is home to multiple stylists, each station is intentionally positioned to give each guest a sense of space, comfort, and privacy within a shared environment.
I chose this space intentionally because I wanted my guests to feel considered from the very beginning—comfortable, unhurried, and fully at ease in their time with me.
The space reflects the same feeling I want every appointment to have—soft, peaceful, and naturally beautiful. Light, coastal tones and a minimal, elegant design creates an environment that feels grounded and easy to settle into.
